Journal Entry: Wed Jul 28, 2004, 2:19 PM
yeah, so i'm getting excited. just a tad. :D and by tad, i obviously mean a lot. i'm so ready for something, somewhere, someone(s) new. got a roommate, got a room, got some people i've started talking to ... it's so crazy! who ever thought that this was coming, and so soon? i still have to do a lot of shopping though, cause that's the cool thing to do.... lame. but also fun. wooo, college. *does a little dance* :aww:

'Ello. I classify you as a literary deviant. As such, you qualify for a watch, as long as you respond. I am trying to round up as many writers as possible, because we simply don't get enough recognition. So we will have to give each other recognition instead. So if you comment me, I'll do the same for you. I make it a matter of pride to leave in depth critiques, and value my DevFriends.

What do you think?

(please note that I am away this week - so it might be a little while before I get back to you)

i was totally in maine. i even breezed through bar harbor, although i was on a ship, and we didn't stop. but we did have a look at l'grande bleu (i think that's how you spell it?). that is one freaking huge yacht. yeah, i wrote some ... haven't gotten around to posting yet. i'm also avoiding looking at all this mess of stuff to sift through - 374 messages. yikes! too busy getting ready for school and stuff.

Emily! Where have you gone? I heard rumor that you were in Maine recently, which I hope was enjoyable. Anyway, just thought I'd check in. Hope you're off having adventures, and that you come back with loads of literary inspiration!

He is remarkably stupid, but I really do think he always means well. The execution is just blundered with stunning regularity. But anyway, my sn is savilcindy (long story), and as soon as I get home tomorrow I shall add you to my buddy list and then we can spend long, happy hours chatting about such things :-) Hope you're having a beautiful day!
~eelang:iconeelang: Jul 15, 2004, 8:23:45 PM
i'm not really mad, it's just ... he's stupid, and he's already got a lot of points against him. i do indeed, and i thought of asking him for your sn ... but i felt like that was weird. glad you asked! :) aim: eellang

Well, we were really only -in- Rye for about a day (Friday and Sunday were travelling), and our friend Casey was there, who can be...challenging. So please don't be mad :-( I didn't mean to upset. But really, it probably wouldn't have been a good time for getting together, because things get a little tense when Casey's around. Actually, a lot tense. Meaning within an hour we all get passive-aggressive and start fuming and snapping, and it just isn't good. But in August! I will be there in August, and we will hang out. By the way, do you have AIM?
~eelang:iconeelang: Jul 15, 2004, 1:33:54 PM
Gavin was in rye????? are you kidding me? if he was here, and never bothered to ... wow. yeah, definitely, we must chill and be geeky. i head off to smith august 29th. i'm getting excited. still waiting on housing/roomate info, though. should be awesome, though.

Emily! I was in Rye from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. I asked the stupid boys if you were around, but Gavin said he "didn't know, actually," and I'm not sure Ian ever answered me. So pffft to them. But I'm sure I'll be back later this summer, and then we absolutely have to hang out. When do you go to Smith?

Thanks for your kind comment on Wood Nymph. You're right about the toenails... IR film does unexpected things sometimes. Her nails were painted with a very light colored polish which didn't seem very obvious to the eye.

Me again commenting on your board hehe. I read through a couple more of your works...and I wanna say how I really, really love reading your poems. You have a wonderful sense of 'flow' and rhythm in your poems. Your imagery, analogies, and the sort are all wonderful for the imagination. There's also a feeling of honesty or something very not contrived, if that makes sense. Keep that up in your writing.
